#1 The Hippo-Crab

What's scarier than the threat of a crab pinching you with its claws? How about that crab also being able to bite you with its hippo teeth! We're not quite sure that its physically possible for a hippo and a crab to cross-breed, but we'll let the scientists keep their hopes up with this one... 

#2 The Crow-Gorilla

Yikes - That sure is one disturbing combination of creatures! We're struggling to find the things that gorillas and crows have in common, other than the fact that they both have black coloring...Crows may seem scary enough to some, but we guarantee that if you saw this thing flying at you, you would definitely run the other way! 

#3 The Zebra-Bull Ant

Bull ants are quite a nuisance, but combine them with the flamboyance of a zebra and you've got yourself one crazy-looking hybrid! We must commend this person's Photoshopping skills though - They almost had us believe that this was a strange and newly discovered species! Well, almost...

#4 The Dolphin-Kangaroo

Let's see, one dwells in the ocean while the other hops around on land, one has fur, the other has sleek skin...It seems as though the differences are endless between the dolphin and the kangaroo, but perhaps that's why this mixture of the two seems so disturbing! Oh, Photoshop, the possibilities are endless... 

#5 The Zebra-Lionfish

That's right - this spooky hybrid animal is a combination of a zebra and a lionfish! Quite a random mixture, right? It seems as though that when it comes to Photoshopping two different animals together, the more contrasting of natural habitats, the better! We're not so sure what the other zebras would think of this weird hybrid though...

#6 The Chimp-Walrus

Imagine, you're walking along the bank of a river, and suddenly this appears - Too freaky! While chimpanzees are widely known for their almost human-like intelligence, we're not so sure that giving them the teeth of a walrus will work in their favor... Remember, if you start to have chimp-walruses running around in your nightmares tonight, they're (thankfully) not real! 

#7 The Eagle-Dog

Are you getting a little tired of the same, old domestic pets? Why not adopt this new species - the eagle-dog? We're not exactly sure what planet the person who Photoshopped this image was living on, but they certainly have one crazy imagination! We also get the feeling that this dog isn't as affectionate as other dogs... 

#8 The Two-Legged Mule

Mules have things pretty tough out there in the world, so the last thing they needed was a Photoshopped image of a two-legged mule to go viral, only creating more embarrassment and giggles behind their back! We have a feeling this picture of a very sad (and awkwardly uneven) mule will remain in our minds for a very long time...

#9 The Seal-Lion

When you imagined a "sealion" growing up, it might have looked something like this in your head! While we soon learnt that sealions look nothing like a lion, and everything like a seal, that still didn't stop someone trying to recreate their childhood dreams through Photoshop. Our advice? Step away from the photo manipulation program! 

#10 The Penguin-Dolphin

At least both species aren't too separated from their natural habitats! Although the penguin and the dolphin both have a love of water in common, that's where the similarities end! This quirky critter just looks like an over-sized penguin, or an oddly-formed dolphin that may be in need of a house call! 

#11 The Zebra-Frog

Look, it's the zebra-frog, a smaller and tree-loving variety of the normal zebra. The truth is, this is just another clever (and creepy) Photoshopped animal hybrid, but we bet that it made you look twice! If only zebras did come in the tree-frog variety, then we'd be able to keep one as a pocket pet...
